Made by Sonia, available in our Adoption Shoppe *Ü*Just wanted to hop on here for a second and drop a note while enjoying a piece of the chocolate I bought for Zeno last night. Dark chocolate with a tiramisu centre. Creamy filling with dark truffle, crunchy biscuit and coffee! Just delicious! So, while Jaana is doing great (way to go, girl!), I gained about 4 kilos in less than 10 days.

According to my sweet hubby our new house is big (for just the two of us) and has bright rooms. It wasn't our first choice but I'm sure that we can make it cozy and loveable.

In a few minutes I will be packing my life away… again! And I'm pretty sure it's gonna be tough considering that tomorrow Zeno's parents will come for a visit and will stay here with us till Friday. Oh, my! Hope all goes smoothly as can be! All our boxes must be ready for Friday night! Keep your fingers crossed, please!

Hoping all is doing well and that you all have a blessed week. Thanks for stopping by! Until we blog again, big hugs!

Hey you guys! Anyone still reading? LOL! I'm mentally and physically exhausted, but still alive!

Hubby and I are back in Trieste. He found a flat in Paisley, a cozy town (according to him) close to Glasgow. Here is a photo of the strange-shaped condo we're going to live in. It's a new building close to the town center.

Paisley, Scotland

We should move there on the 15th! Still have to book our flights, though. On Friday the removers will come to pick up all our boxes, but very few things are already packed so far. That's because we had to wait till today to choose the removers who gave us the better quote among all those we got in touch with. Tomorrow they will (hopefully!) bring us more boxes, bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts.

Almost time for bed, I'm pretty tired. Sweet dreams! Till we blog again…

Happy May, everyone! It's Labor Day (Festa del Lavoro) here in Italy.

Seems April just zoomed by. Hubby is in Scotland house hunting and I am at my parents'. And YES, they are spoiling me rotten! LOL! They already made a lot of yummy dishes for me. For lunch we had rice with asparagus and saffron, salad, strawberries (from my dad's garden) with whipped cream and a sparkle of cinnamon on top. Just heavenly! This afternoon we went to our neighbours house for a quick visit and I announced Zeno and I will move to Scotland. They offered us tea with chocolate homemade cookies. For dinner my parents made a frittata with assorted vegetables and grilled eggplants (or I should say aubergines) and then the three of us went downtown for a walk and had a delicious ice-cream. Oh my, I had more than enough! I sure have a sweet tooth! LOL!

We have a lot of pollen that goes everywhere this time of year and aggravates my allergies. But I love spring anyway! And the flowers in my dad's garden are so beautiful, especially the tulips and the lilies of the valley!

I'm going through stuff and getting items ready for our move. I have tons of books here at my parents', and also many presents Zeno and I received for our wedding 7 years ago. I'd like to take a few of them with us in the UK. It's funny how you don't realize how much stuff you have until you go through it, isn't it?

I've got lots more to do before going to bed, so I better get busy! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving sweet tags, I appreciated that so much! Thanks for your friendship! Till we blog again.
